We’re looking for a Trade Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing team in what is a full time position based in Auckland, New Zealand  

 

This successful candidate for this role will be responsible for executing the Area category activation strategy, to drive the growth of your portfolio of Reckitt brands.  This position focuses on increasing Reckitt’s in store presence across all categories, strengthening Reckitt brands with consumers, optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy and will achieve excellence through in store

 

Your role will include but not be limited to: 

  • Developing and executing the Brand & Trade Marketing Activation Plan for your portfolio in New Zealand.
  • Working with NZ supply, NZ sales and NZ finance, to prepare, recommend and execute plans to deliver key financial targets including gross margin, net revenue and market share targets within timescales and budget. 
  • Contributing to and implement the annual Activation business plan including category 4Ps, monitor performance and competitor activity and recommend adjustments to the strategy & tactics.
  • Working with Supply to monitor and manage the S&OP forecasting process end to end for your portfolio.
  • Accountability for the brand and trade marketing budget for the category.
     

You’ll succeed because you… 

  • Min 2 years professional experience in either marketing, trade marketing, sales support or project management. A combination of all would be preferred.
  • Proven marketing or sales experience preferably within FMCG or retail
  • With a strong work ethic, high energy levels, and tenacity, you will thrive in an environment where the business responds quickly to the needs to the market
  • Strong ability to analyse results, interpret data and apply the information to benefit the overall profitability of the business
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issue
  • Experience in influencing and engaging key figures in customer organisations
  •  Advanced excel skills (must have) as well as Neilson and IRI (Preferable)
