Finance Business Partner

Description

This role is a key member of the Finance Business Partner Team with accountability for managing the Sales Finance Function (Trade Investments process and controls, Partnership with sales/trade marketing teams on investment proposals, Distributor health checks/audits, Return on investments, Net revenue maximization, Gross to net revenues reporting, Driving compliance with local and global commercial/trade). This role will manage a team with three direct reports ensuring top quality financial support for effective decision making within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with commercial leaders (Channel Head& Trade Marketing team) of Health & Hygiene Business Unit. Ability to highlight the key issues, risks and opportunities related to Gross-to- Net Revenue
  • Review Net Revenue and trade investments assessment for monthly financial closing, ensure delivering value added performance reporting of key information and data as per corporate reporting calendar
  • Monitor trade investments, foster a mentality of “challenging the usual” when examining Trade Spend patterns and instill business manager behavior / ROI culture and create P&L awareness across the organization
  • Analyses and interprets information on trade investment performance and highlight the trade investment trends/gaps that need business attention including but not limited to Channel and Customer Profitability, Brand Trade Investment Analytics as well as opportunities to close the gap
  • Drive the streamline end-to-end process for trade promotion management by partnering with sales team to over actual spending covering annual trade agreements and other promotion ensuring investment decisions are in line with business and growth objectives also work closely with credit control team to ensure overall controls are in place

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance and/or Accountancy
  • Accredited member of an internationally recognized CPA organization
  • At least 5 years of FMCG experience preferably with large blue chip / international organizations
  • At least 2 years in a professional audit firm preferred
  • Exposure in the field of management accounting and reporting
  • Knowledge of JDE/SAP especially trade spend management function will be added advantage
  • Ability to communicate in both Thai and English for business conduct level
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated
  • Energetic with excellent interpersonal & leadership skills, able to influence people of all levels
