Medical Manager

We are looking for a Medical Manager to join our Medical Marketing Team in Budapest. In this role you will report to the Medical Affairs Manager SEE and you will assume responsibility for developing and mantain excellent working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical and health associations, health authorities, internal sales and marketing departments.

You’ll have the following key responsibilities:

  • Bringing internal & external medical and scientific expertise to support Reckitt Health brands communication plan to healthcare professionals. 90% of the activity will be directed to OTC portfolio
  • Develop and implement KOLs Management Plan, performing KOLs mapping at country level
  • Ensure ethics, transparency, quality  and compliance of all medical activities
  • As strategic partner, provide scientific support to relevant function eg.: Marketing, Regulatory and Sales
  • Developing and providing scientific & clinical medical information to current and potential Key Opinion Leaders/leading specialists/HCPs
  • Coordinating continuing educational workshops & other programs for physicians, nurses and pharmacists
  • Coordinating Reckitt’s attendance to conferences, congresses and other educational events dedicated to HCPs
  • Providing analysis of clinical studies
  • Delivering medical information to internal/external health sources and advising clinicians in the development of their own presentations
  • Budget management: develop medical education plan and establish cost controls to ensure that the expenses are in the approved budget
  • Possessing and continuously updating appropriate medical knowledge, to be able to provide competent and balanced medical advice
  • Ensuring planning and execution of local strategic medical meetings (Ad boards, Steering Committees, Expect Meetings)

You’ll succeed because you have: 

  • University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry or other related to Life Sciences  
  • Relevant working experience of minimum 3 years in pharma industry
  • At least 1 year experience in KOLs management
  • Demonstrated experience in motivating broader teams to achieve project goals
  • Excellent understanding of local regulatory and Healthcare Professionals environment
  • Fluency in English and native Hungarian
  • Cross-country and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong communication & relationship-building and decision making skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Driving license
