Trade Marketing Manager

Long Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develops country/customer 4P strategy and tactics in line with respective head of channel / accounts (ie Key accounts, General trade and E-commerce), and building on global 4P strategy.
  • Defines Category’s trade marketing KPIs
  • Contributes to category marketing plans, with customer, channel, category analysis and promotional strategy with high agility to change strategies based on ever-changing competitive environment
  • Continuous analysis of the customer’s position, works together with account managers to recommend in store actions aimed at strengthening Reckitt’s position in the category
  • Develops and implements Reckitt promotional strategy, with through-the-line approach integrating brand priorities and media plans across customers
  • Present 4P strategy & launch plans to our customers
  • Key contact for the brand marketing team with regards to all promotional and customer activities
  • Defines and manages the trade marketing budget
  • Responsible for overseeing 1 Trade Marketing executive


Qualification & Skills:

  • Educated to minimum bachelor's degree level ideally in a business related subject - from a recognised University 
  • Minimum 6 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Trade Marketing/ Marketing and/or Key Account Management. 8 years or above experience can be considered for a Senior Trade Marketing Manager position
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
  • Highly agile, possessing strong team playing skills with an open mindset
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities with category growth mindset
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English)
