Senior Data Engineer

Description

SUMMARY

Operating sphere is Shopfloor integrations, Azure IOT, Data, Visualization PowerBI. Primary accountability is project delivery and support for Factory of the Future programs (OEE and sustainability). Secondary accountability is support Manufacturing IT Product teams on existing systems for data-shopfloor integration discoveries, POVs.

Delivery Accountability

  • Owner of IoT integrations on Reckitt selected platform on Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands on project delivery work across Reckitt factories. Responsible for design, implementation and support of Kepware, Azure IoT platform including Edge devices and visualization.
  • Technical Architecture Specifications for factory implementation – understanding of Networking Pattern, Factory Connectivity and design IoT solution for fitment.
  • DNS, FQDN, Azure Runtime Integrations, Logic Apps iPaaS, containerized runtime deployments.
  • Shopfloor integrations patterns, implementation including industrial historians, OPC-UA, PLC/HMIs, Kepware
  • Act as owner for data - help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, structured and unstructured, to enable smarter decisions and better products to all our consumers and customers worldwide
  • Clearly articulate Supply Chain business issues and propose practical solutions to decision makers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global business partners in Manufacturing to support our digitization and IT/OT convergence goals
  • Work alongside our business product owners in factories to build the data capabilities that drives and supports productivity and decision-making processes
  • Work with a globally based team across a diverse range of factory environments and capabilities. Analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
  • Work in an Agile setup - Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.

Experience Requirement

  • M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Min. 5 years of Manufacturing Data industry experience in handling structured and unstructured data to drive business impact
  • Experience of delivering Manufacturing data solutions using Kepware Data Management tool
  • Experience in data pipelines creation, modification and monitoring
  • Experience of working with Industrial data protocols 
  • Proficiency in few of common toolkits: Spark, Databricks, SSIS, ADF, Blob storage, SQL DB
  • Working knowledge of Azure IOT integration essential
  • Strong skills in: Python, SQL, Json
  • Experience in building managing and developing Data Historian applications and TAG management
  • Overall understanding of technologies used in the product
