The role of the Associate Manager, Risk Communications is integrated within the Human Risk Management and Risk Communications Group. The person in role is required to take responsibility for and ensuring appropriate delegation, oversight of workflow and process review/implementation in the Risk Communications team, enabling the output of high-quality documentation, including medical and clinical documentation for regulatory submissions.  


You’ll succeed because… 
Maintain oversight of all Risk Communications activities, including a variety of regulatory, medical and clinical documents e.g. Company Core Data Sheets (CCDS), Requests for Information (RFI) from regulatory authorities, Safety Observation Assessments (SOA) and RMP.Manage, coordinate and delegate/undertake the authoring, editing and review of various regulatory, medical and  clinical documents. Coordinate and collate high quality responses to Regulatory questions that arise during dossier/technical file review as required. Collaborate with Vigilance & Risk Management, and Regulatory colleagues, the Safety Physician/Medical Safety Director and other functions as necessary during safety signal management activities to carry out critical appraisal of scientific data for SOA production, or delegate as required

Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a health-related or life science discipline e.g. Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, Biochemistry or equivalent. 3-4 years medical writing experience (preferably regulatory medical writing in a Consumer Healthcare setting) Demonstrable high standard medical writing skills, with the ability to critically appraise scientific data across multiple therapeutic areas
