About the role
Join Reckitt, a global leader in consumer health and hygiene, as our Procurement Manager for Non-Production Spend (NPS). Lead the charge to drive innovative procurement solutions that will streamline our operations and contribute to our sustainability efforts. In this forward-thinking role, you'll be pivotal in crafting procurement strategies that support our company's ambitions, while optimising costs and nurturing solid supplier partnerships. This is an opportunity that combines strategic vision with tangible achievements – a role where your influence extends beyond procurement, touching every facet of our business.
Your responsibilities
Manage the budget, set category strategy, and deliver savings for local indirect spend excluding Working Media but, including:
- Local categories: promotional displays, local marketing spend, manage commercial fixed costs
- Support some key global categories such as: copy production, market research, creative agencies and manage commercial fixed costs.
- Support all key projects. Owner of the sourcing recommendation and therefore influence the sourcing decisions
Compliance
- Drive compliance of the purchasing policies and increase procurement involvement coverage. Also responsible to monitor Supplier’s financial situation. Identify potential risks and take proper actions.
- Responsible for the contracting with the suppliers and increase the number of contracts covering the spend.
- Usage of Ariba platform to appropriately submit any business allowance for approval
Financial deliverables
- Track and report savings and NWC progress on a monthly basis using the NPS Tracker
- Work with local and regional Finance Team to validate and secure savings in the P&L
- Increase Payment Terms whenever possible via direct negotiations or sourcing changes to more favorable suppliers
The experience we're looking for
- 5+ years’ work experience in Procurement Department in an international company; previous experience in FMCG company will be a plus
- Proven Category Management expertise, within Indirect, ideally with exposure across Marketing and Facility Management
- Familiarity with leading complex, cross-functional, sourcing projects
- A high degree of fluency of English & French is required for negotiations and internal communications; knowledge of other languages is a plus
