Responsibilities

 

•    Work cross-functionally to support R&D projects to achieve key milestones and objectives.
•    Coordinate and conduct Pilot Plant batches to support R&D Project bulk and sample needs.
•    Maintain supplies and raw material inventory. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of raw materials (CoA, SDS) according to company policies. Manage waste removal for expired raw materials, according to company policies 
•    Create batch cards that meet Category & Quality requirements 
•    Able to safely make batches in Laboratory and Pilot Plant setting, which the ability to lift/maneuver up to 40 lbs.
•    Conduct stability on batches and detail results in a Stability Reports.
•    Ability to interpret data and document findings in Technical Reports
•    Maintain Laboratory and Pilot Plant equipment and execute work according to required safety and quality standards, as defined in the company’s SOP’s. Document all work in lab notebooks. Participate in periodic quality audits. Train personnel on Pilot Plant operations.
•    Lead the development of optimized processes for new products in development. Work closely with formula development teams to understand formulations and key formula sensitivities. Partner with Supply Technical teams to ensure developed processes will work with their equipment setups.
•    Support Technology Transfer on new products leading up to and through Industrial Trials. 
•    Lead and conduct trials with Factory Teams. Travel to factories (international) to support as needed.
•    Support Operations and Supply Technical Teams with technical reviews and guidance on procedure optimization projects. Review Method of Manufactures for content and accuracy.
•    Support cross-functional teams with troubleshooting production issues.

Qualifications:

 

•    B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related Science and 5 years relevant experience, or MS degree in Chemical Engineering or related science and 3 years experience, or PhD in Chemical Engineering or related science and 1 year relevant experience in FMCG
•    Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
•    Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement, including cross-functional Project Teams involving members from Marketing, Supply, Manufacturing as well as R&D.
•    Proactive mindset fitting with Reckitt Core Values and able to exhibit entrepreneurial attributes
•    Strong communication skills to effectively provide feedback to project teams or immediate supervisor
•    Strong written communication skills for accurate data entry and concise lab reports.
•    Results Oriented and self-motivating, seeking information from others to accomplish objectives
•    Ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change.
•    Timely execution of multiple project objectives within established timelines
•    Desire to learn, apply and enhance skill set while seeking new opportunities
•    Proficient with common software applications, including MSOffice
