NPD Project Coordinator - Supply Chain (Contract)

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible to coordinate projects in the Supply Chain space. The key focus of this role is to manage New/Existing Product Development launch for Malaysia and Singapore market. You will also assist team in managing service improvements across the supply chain spanning Planning, Customer Service and Logistics.

  • Co-ordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to track projects being on time.
  • Communicate and collaborate with matrix of functional leaders and business process owners to ensure understanding and alignment of project timeline and objectives
  • Co-ordinate the communication between the factories and the commercial team related to NPD
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and process simplification
  • Work closely with planning, customer service, finance and marketing team to drive improvement in costs and service
  • Lead embellishment activities ensuring product readiness as per timelines aligned
  • Devise critical paths and deliver them within deadline

Qualification, Skills & Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business Management or its equivalent discipline 
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience - specializing in product management/logistics or its equivalent will be an added advantage
  • A team player and results orientated individual
  • Good communication skills 
  • Computer literate (efficient in MS Office use). 
  • Basic knowledge of SAP system will be an added advantage
