Exciting opportunity to join the Global Insights & Analytics (I&A) team at Reckitt, working on our Nutrition portfolio. You will be the leader of consumer insights for a Nutrition brand globally and will report directly to the Global Insights and Analytics Director – Nutrition.  

 

Our vision as an Insights & Analytics team is to ensure the consumer is at the heart of everything we do, and that I&A is a strategic, commercial partner to the business. You’ll have the opportunity to ensure the business is using consumer and Healthcare professional insight to drive business decisions, ultimately making the voice of the consumer an integral part of delivering the Global Nutrition business results.  This role has the sole purpose of driving growth via innovation that outperforms, brand equities that are breakthrough yet sustainable and global models that ensure repeated success for the Nutrition business globally.  Working with key leaders in the global Category Development Organization as well as Insights partners in the US, LATAM and South East Asia as well as agency partners is critical to excel in this position.  


Key Responsibilities

•    Strong focus and involvement in New Product Development and development of the insight and ideas that drive the innovation pipeline.  
•    Developing strong relationships with Category management, in order to develop, manage and execute research plans to best meet business objectives.
•    Responsible for the implementation of strategic category market research projects such as Usage and Attitude studies and Segmentations.
•    Proactively develop a deep understanding of Infant Nutrition consumers, healthcare professionals, retail/channel partners.
•    Share and aid understanding of consumer and healthcare professional learning within the Category Marketing management team through building and collation of global consumer and healthcare professional insights.
•    Implement specific research projects using globally standard, consistent and best practice methodologies.
•    Provide high quality support to the category marketing team in interpreting market research results, contributing to practical action plans following research.
•    Plan and manage the category market research budget in conjunction with Category Marketing management.
•    Understand and use relevant syndicated data (Nielsen/Kantar/IQVIA) to driving growth of the category.
•    Develop strong relationships with preferred global external research suppliers to ensure superior service and quality.
•    Develop and build strong relationships with regional Insights managers for category projects executed in their regions.

Qualifictaions


•    6 to 10 years work experience required – Consumer Insight experience at leading Healthcare, FMCG or Pharma companies or at agencies supporting these brands or businesses.
•    Prefer experience in leading research with Healthcare professionals
•    Experience conducting multi-country research / analysis preferred
•    Experience supporting both new business/brand development and strategic work is highly desirable. 
•    Global experience, consumer marketing background, healthcare marketing background and supplier/consulting/agency side experiences are all pluses. 
•    Must possess excellent oral and written communication & influencing skills and a proven ability to build collaborative partnerships.
•    Effective listening skills, as well as flexibility, a strong work ethic, and being a strategic thinker are valued assets.
•    Results focused. 
•    Can handle a heavy workload with competing priorities. 
•    Displays sound business judgment and intelligence, attention to detail, learning agility, high energy level, etc. 
•    Both capable of thinking out of the box, while being strategic and analytical. 
•    Very strong quantitative skills preferred. Ability to integrate primary research findings with macro-economic factors, secondary/syndicated data and basic modeling to ensure recommendations tell a holistic “story” and are actionable.
•    Must be equally capable of executing both quantitative and qualitative projects. Comfortable utilizing and analyzing various business intelligence sources outside consumer related insights (syndicated data, market level data, custom consumer research, digital analytics, retailer customer data, and consumer trends ).Lead large-scale data and analytics projects that will help drive our brands to penetration, share and equity leadership.
