SUMMARY

 

 

The Junior Business Analyst will be part of the salesforce effectiveness team within Medical Operations. The team focuses on optimising the operational side of salesforce, providing actionable insights and driving execution excellence. The junior analyst will be responsible for delivering data and analytics capabilities to the medical team (data analysis, reporting, advanced predictive & prescriptive solutions) and driving analytics adoption. You will be a hands-on, analytics advocate with the ability to convert data & statistics theory into commercial in-field application. This is an opportunity to join a FTSE 100 company, be exposed to cross-functional teams and to have an impact by providing meaningful insights that will drive the strategy of the Medical Sales Globally.

…you’re an expert at analysing data from internal and external sources. You’re highly skilled with Excel and PowerPoint and you love using facts and statistics to develop compelling stories. You’ve close attention to detail, allowing you to spot trends others don’t. Most importantly, you’re an exceptional communicator, able to persuade your colleagues to follow your advice.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SQL code in a business environment
  • 1+ years of commercial experience in data extraction, analysis and reporting
  • Degree in a numerate discipline such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills. Understand how to smartly analyse and use data to drive actionable insights.
  • Some experience in technical writing for technical and business audience
  • Good communication skills 
  • Strong MS Suite abilities (primarily PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Enjoy working at pace and are comfortable with change
  • Previously worked with Big Data systems
  • Data visualisation skills – e.g. PowerBI, Tableau
  • Technical data skills – Python, R (on top of SQL)
  • Experience/knowledge on sales operational data
  • Familiarity with working in an agile development framework
  • Worked before with CRM data
