As User Experience (UX) Design Lead on Enfamil at Reckitt you will be responsible for creating valuable site, app, and email experiences that expecting and new mothers will use to become more confident parents. You will be responsible for making our digital products more helpful by integrating new features, creating more logical journeys and partnering to step-change the experience aesthetic of the brand. We are really proud of the relationships we’ve built with our expecting parents and we want to do all we can to make their journey into motherhood as simple, valuable, and rewarding as possible and this role will be key in helping us achieve that goal. 

 

An integral member of the Experience Design team, you will work closely with other team members from Analytics, Product Management, Project Management, Content Strategy, Paid Media Strategy, and Content Editorial to create extraordinary online experiences. You're a skilled IA and interaction designer, with a working knowledge of content strategy and user research. You enjoy collaborating with all of the other disciplines (product managers, SEOs, content editors, and designers) and understanding the UX dependencies that impact design and development throughout the project life cycle. You've developed user flows from acquisition through loyalty retention and high-fidelity wireframes and functional specifications for designers and developers. You've reviewed usability research to determine opportunities to improve my design. 

 

Your focus & time should be split:   

60% Creating, Deploying and Running Optimization projects/initiatives

20% Engaging with functional leaders and brand team members to generate requirements  

10% User research & analysis  

The role involves having an entrepreneurial can-do spirit, data driven analytical thinking and discipline to deliver enhancements on time and target results.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for interaction design, task flow, behavior, and navigation design
  • Creates deliverables such as sitemaps and wireframes Ideates, sketches, and prototypes for mobile, desktop, and tablet and mobile devices
  • Performs competitive reviews and experience evaluations
  • Actively collaborates in cross disciplinary idea generation and co-creation sessions
  • Articulates rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs
  • Highly focused on process, as well as deliverables, mindful of the role of UX throughout the project lifecycle
  • Contributes to UX research plans and helps to synthesize and apply UX research findings to UX design solutions
  • Stays current with latest industry trends

 

Key Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience working on complex software or transactional or ecommerce experiences, with medium to large-sized teams, preferably in a cross disciplinary digital agency
  • Degree in interaction design, human computer interaction or industrial design preferred
  • Degree in a related field, such as library science, graphic design, animation or architecture considered
  • Highly proficient at creating UX artifacts and deliverables
  • Understands how bots crawl content and structures needed for SEO
  • Actively participate in sketching and ideation sessions
  • Working knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies, responsive web, atomic design and design systems

 

Platforms & Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Sketch or Adobe XD, Axure RP, InVision, Mural, Zeplin, Jira/Confluence
  • Familiarity with functional aspects of HTML, Javascript and CSS to ensure designed UI elements will work as intended
  • Comfort with UI testing tools like UserTesting or HotJar to gain insights before launch.
