Sr. Analyst, SAP MDM

Job Description

Duties: Support Master Data Management processing and validations for Items, Components, and Build of Materials (BOM’s). Lead new development of data governance reporting, including requirements, documentation, testing and rolling out new functionality. Works closely with system integrator and provide input into the configuration of MDG. Support accurate and effective master data including data maintenance, analysis, audits, data reconciliation, maintenance support, documentation, reporting, and communication. Manage and maintain Smartsheet Ticketing System for user requests. Analyze requests and assign to correct support staff. Analyze full impact and identify risks associated with potential solutions to systems issues and advise process owners of the best approach. Prepare Material Data Attributes for mass update processing. Conduct and support system updates and validate the results when completed. Support Acquisition activity for material data cleansing, integration, and migration with Global SAP team. Involved in all stages of data migration from data analysis to pre go-live validations, user acceptance testing, user sign-off, Cut-Over plans, migrating to Dev/QA/ Prod landscapes, and post go-live validations. Identify areas for data quality improvements and manage the resolution of data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. Support synchronization of master data across multiple systems. Support internal controls and audit information requests. Anticipate problems, identify root causes, and be proactive about preventing issues from occurring. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for System Transactions. Provide functional support for Global data standards and management hierarchy maintenance. Participate in software upgrades, design, implementation, functional testing, and data validation to ensure quality solutions. Analysis and resolution of design issues and gaps involving Master Data, Storage locations and Storage Bins. Support Cross functional teams to provide guidance and problem-solving for Item enrichment and block release.

 

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) plus 3 years in Corporate Master Data analysis and data management for CPG or Manufacturing/Supply (would also accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience)  Must include 3 years of experience: as a Master Data Superuser performing Material Master analysis and maintenance using SAP Material Master Core Modules; Build of Material (BOM’s) creation and version control (SAP ECC and JDE); and product enrichment of all required material attributes before block release. 2 years of experience:  using Power BI reporting tool, and using Ticketing system for user requests such as Smartsheet; Product Lifecycle programs; and Data Cleansing Programs. 1 year of experience with: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.  Salary: $153,525.00/year, M-F, 40 hours/week.
