Regulatory Policy Assistant

The Regulatory Policy Assistant supports the governance of Regulatory Policy activities, while monitoring and summarising of legislative initiatives and policies and developing their stakeholder and project management skills, while interacting with colleagues from across the business including Regulatory, Global Safety, Sustainability, Packaging, R&D, Quality, Supply and others. The Regulatory Policy Assistant coordinates the delivery of impact assessments and identification of opportunities and risks for the business to influence the regulatory landscape and enable innovation and product registration in top markets. The key focus would be on the EU Green Deal and support for other policy priorities, as needed.

Position Details

- Designated manager: Policy Manager, Hygiene
- Work location:  Amsterdam preferred/ UK (Hull or Slough)/ (Work from Home/Hybrid)

 

Main duties and responsibilities


- Monitor key intelligence sources for information updates of potential impact to Reckitt. Focus on EU Green Deal and legislative process from early developments, through consultations, drafts and final legislation. 
- Evaluate impact and anticipate implications of important emerging regulatory requirements and policies on the internal commercial portfolio, projects or greater Reckitt environment. 
- Contribute to internal knowledge management and intelligence database systems, and produce analyses and interpretations as required.
- Coordinate the delivery of impact assessments and identification of opportunities and risks for the business.
- Communicate new and emerging regulatory requirements internally, laterally/cross functionally, to RI bulletins, foresight reports, policy tools, business presentations and to higher management.
- Maintenance of the policy tools, performing regular review of subject network and communication channels, updates Green Deal excel tracker, SharePoint Site, Teams channels. 
- Leverage and consult on technological solutions and improve the effectiveness, efficiency and transparency of policy processes.
