About the role

At Reckitt, we are currently on the lookout for a Senior Procurement Manager with a flair for navigating the complex world of commodities. In this role, you'll be the visionary behind the procurement strategies that keep our essential commodities flowing. Your expertise will help steer Reckitt through changing market dynamics to ensure we continue to deliver excellence across our operations. Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:
- Craft and execute strategic plans for the procurement of critical commodities, balancing cost with reliability.
- Negotiate terms with vendors and manage contracts to fortify our commodity supply chains.
- Keep a pulse on market trends, utilising your insights to preempt risks and harness opportunities.
- Engage with various teams, ensuring procurement strategies are attuned to business goals.
- Enhance supplier relationships, focusing on consistent supply and mutual value generation.
- Drive cost optimisation and efficiency improvements within the commodity procurement sphere.

The experience we're looking for

- Robust experience in procurement, particularly with commodities, in a global setting.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
- Skilled in negotiation and contract management, coupled with excellent supplier relationship abilities.
- Strong analytical mindset, adept at decoding market trends and their implications.
- Effective communicator and collaborator who excels in stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledgeable about procurement policies and the intricacies of commodity markets.
