The Global Digital Media Trading Manager is responsible for leading a growing team of skilled campaign managers and analysts, developing their expertise and progressing their careers to deliver outstanding digital media services as part of an integrated media solution.  The role is heavily responsible for growing the strategic potential of Reckitt brands globally in the digital space, through the development of processes, learning agendas and test & learn frameworks.


What you will be doing:

  • Managing high performing teams, ensuring best practice as well as improving processes and procedures to enhance delivery capabilities.
  • Develop global media trading strategies that drive outperformance and can be localised across brands/markets.
  • Taking an active management role developing the trading team’s talent as well as assessing needs and resource planning on an ongoing basis.
  • Drive best practice across markets and lead on all trading related processes and strategy.
  • Act as a thought a thought leader, developing media trading strategy and innovative solutions to position Reckitt as industry leaders.
  • Working with department heads to drive the direction of the future of our media purchasing.
  • Ensuring we stay market-leading in the digital media space, with development of case 
  • Act as a mentor to individuals both inside and outside of your team, encouraging them to develop their full potential, and helping them develop their longer-term career plans


What we are looking for:

  • Likely to have 5-6 years’ experience in a digital media, and working with other Account Directors / Heads-of-Programmatic/search, and/or Marketing Directors / Marketing Managers on the client side
  • A proven track record on building and maintaining client relationships including working with c-suite individuals
  • Delivering results across large scale performance campaigns and collaborating cross-department
  • Previous experience in managing and growing teams including but not limited to: overseeing the recruitment of new team members, playing an active role in talent retention and building personal development plans.
  • Experience in working directly with media providers including (ideally, but not required) Google Marketing Platform, Facebook, and Amazon
  • Confident in the ability to assist in planning and delivery of pitches to potential new markets
  • Regular contribution to the media community i.e blogs, case studies, conferences
  • Extensive knowledge of DV360/GMP and the FB tech stack (Plus Certification)
  • Google AdWords Certification (including Video Certification)
  • Experience with Doubleclick Search (plus certification)
  • Experience with Google Analytics (plus certification)
