Reckitt is looking for an Enterprise Architect (EA) to modernise its existing Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Manufacturing Technology ecosystem. The role will proactively lead alignment of the IT and Business strategy within the Manufacturing domain and work closely with the other EA domains, collaborate, and contribute to the business and IT strategy. We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect and subject matter expert within the Supply and Manufacturing domain with relevant experience of driving digital optimisation and transformation, with expert knowledge of the technologies and architectures associated with digitally transforming the Manufacturing and Supply Chain domain.

 

You will also work closely with the IT teams from Supply, Manufacturing, Digital, Data, Integration and Platform competencies to provide them with guidance to help them adhere to the Enterprise Architecture standards and principles.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • The role owns the overall architecture strategy for Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Advanced Manufacturing/IIoT
  • Owns the Reference Architecture toolkit for the Manufacturing domain, defining principles, standards, and patterns
  • Owns the Manufacturing capability roadmap
  • Ensures that Manufacturing solutions and services appropriately integrate into the broader Enterprise Architecture and Ecosystem
  • Influences and contributes towards the strategic direction of the Enterprise Architecture
  • Ensures proper alignment of the Business Architecture and the Technology Architecture across a wider set of IT teams and enable the Business Relationship Managers for Business team alignment
  • Present technical concepts and specific solutions to internal and external audiences of varying technical capabilities in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner
  • Understand the business KPIs and define the technology KPIs for the relevant area
  • Be the champion and the advocate of adopting the best architecture and design practices and ensure Supply Chain, Logistics and Manufacturing projects are built consistently aligned to the Enterprise Architecture of Reckitt.

 

 

Key Challenges: Reckitt has a complex IT landscape that reflects the rapid growth and the global nature of the business. This needs to be streamlined at the same time as driving large scale IT projects forward.  This role will need to quickly establish an in depth understanding of the current landscape and the road map to achieve the desired future state.

 

 

 

Skills & Experience required:

  • 15+ years of professional IT experience, with 8+ years of architecture experience, with 4+ of those years specifically focused on Enterprise Transformation in relevant area (Supply Chain Planning, Logistics and Manufacturing area)
  • SAP full cycle implementation for Manufacturing using SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
  • Understands Domain Driven Design (DDD) methodology
  • Understands common Industry IoT devices and the technology viewpoints associated with them
  • Relevant experience within Advanced Manufacturing/IIoT, Industry 4.0, Cloud, Automation, Data, Digital Twin, SAP, OMP
  • Experience of working with remote partners to implement and support solutions
  • Experience in the full lifecycle of Solution Architecture including early-stage assessment, solution options, solution design, support of solution transition and in life operations
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying secure and privacy policy compliant enterprise solutions in the relevant area
  • Experience evaluating existing application design and making recommendations for enhancing applications to leverage SaaS solutions
  • Working experience with modern development and delivery methodologies such as Agile and CI/CD and ability to apply these processes fit for purpose
  • Strong attitude for collaboration and ability to lead and influence a team of architects, as well as mentoring engineers.

 

 

Technical / professional qualifications required: 

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred
  • TOGAF 9 certified 
  • Relevant recognized industry technology certification (APICS, Industry 4.0).
