This role assumes overall accountability for end-to-end Legal and Compliance products. This role works closely with business stakeholders to identify needs and prioritise new product features, managing the product backlog and value delivery to Legal stakeholders. The Product Group Lead is also accountable for IT&D project and programme delivery within the Product Group.

The IT&D Product Manager, Legal will define and manage the transition plan for the Product Group to the Product based operating model for IT&D Legal. You will establish and maintain the Product governance framework for the Product Group whilst also being accountable for the team of Product Owners responsible for the Products in the Product Group. You will lead Product Owners in translating Business and Product Stream strategies to define the Product Group backlog aligning with common goals and objectives. You will be driven to show value, assessment and measurement and realisation for products. You will lead reviews of any significant Product Group initiatives on a periodic basis and on demand as required. Providing visibility on trends and forecasts versus plans and provides recommendations as to whether elements should continue as-is, be significantly changed, placed on hold, or discontinued. You will continually engage with and conduct reviews with Business Stakeholders to validate and assess the product portfolio, execute change, and reprioritise to meet business needs as required.

You’ll succeed because… 

… you will manage key vendor relationships and commercials, ensuring appropriate selection, contracting and ongoing management of 3rd party vendors (services, software licencing). You will provide overall planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting of spend (Opex, Capex) for the Product Group ensuring costs are well managed and within approved parameters. You will be accountable for management of the BAU service for the Product Group and ensuring service quality from existing NIO framework and VIBE vendor; and lead on defining changes to the BAU service model. You will partner consistently and provide oversight on the in-flight initiatives in the Product Group, ensuring the required capabilities can be achieved enabled by the correct tooling.
