R&D Data & Analytics Senior Associate

Slough, Berkshire

You will work across R&D to understand requirements to improve and develop data products and work closely with the IT&D organisation for implementation. You will support the users, making sure data is available, findable and the quality is managed, with a focus on compliance reporting for REACh and REACh-like regulations.
 
In your day to day, you will ...
• Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the data and business processing rules needed to prepare the data for reporting requirements such as REACH, with that knowledge you will advise the IT team on new requirements, improvements, and fixes
• Based on your knowledge of ERP and PLM data you work together with the IT team to investigate any data issues and assign them for resolution
• Take business lead role in system updates and ensure these are implemented according to Change Control methodology for validated systems.
• Work closely with stakeholders in the REACH process, troubleshooting and providing insight in the workings of the platform
• Develop reports and dashboards, working with developers, to provide insight into Data Quality issues

 You’ll succeed because… 
…you have a deep understanding of ERP and/or PLM processes and data and feel comfortable as the spider in the web between the functions involved. You understand how to take a business requirement and work with the IT team to implement changes in the Data & Analytics Platform. You have experience in a life science or consumer health environment, working with GxP validated systems and the quality mindset that comes with the industry.
