In this role you will have a unique opportunity to work with leaders of the organization on topics that shape the strategy of RB. The role will leverage your strategy, analytical and problem-solving expertise as well as leadership skills, enabling you to have a meaningful impact on the performance of the business. Strategy Lead role leaves sufficient room for you to initiate and lead new topics as well, such as potential entry into a new category. 


In this role you will...

  • The right-hand person to the Strategy Director and expected to step-in when needed
  • Lead a cross-functional team to deliver end-to-end DCG projects across CMUs & markets with 1-2 direct reporting lines
  • Structure and coordinate work across DCG team, junior strategists and insights team, and local CMU teams
  • Provoke strategic thinking for the team by challenging status quo and bringing new insights. Stretch the team’s thinking on strategic topics and strive for excellence
  • Manage project timeline and key stakeholder meetings (e.g., kick-off, steering committee)
  • Identify areas of improvement within and outside the team and develop pragmatic ways of improvement
  • Manage relationships with CMU's and key stakeholders
  • Be the point of contact to ensure recommendations are implemented at a local level in countries. Positively challenge country teams on their thinking to bring out the best
  • Drive change through clear and impactful communication with senior leaders in the business
     

To be succesful in this role you will have...

  • Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm with exposure to consumer goods sector. 
  • Evidence of outstanding performance through career.
  • Exposure to commercial side (marketing & sales) of consumer goods, or retail, or healthcare companies preferred 
  • Strong skills in project and people management
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Ability to push for and deliver insight, capable to go beyond the obvious
  • Capability of translating analyses into implementable solutions and identifying implementation challenges
  • Commercial and business acumen
