The Nordic Category Marketing and Trade Marketing Manager for Fabric Treatment (Vanish, Woolite, Calgon) is a key member of the Nordic organization. In this role, you'll own the Marketing strategy of your category in the Nordic countries hereby delivering Net Revenue, Gross Margin and Market Share targets. 


Vanish will be your key focus area and presents an exciting challenge. Being market leader in a low-penetration Category, it is about getting into more shoppers' baskets and build frequency around our products - ultimately driving sustainable Category value! Based in the Danish HQ and reporting to the Head of Nordic Marketing and Trade Marketing, you'll have a direct report and be part of a dynamic Team, eager to build Marketing best practices rooted in consumer, shopper or trade insights. Your key stakeholders will be Country Sales Managers and Local Trade Marketing Managers as well as Supply and Regulatory Teams. You will also have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with the Global Marketing Team for effective best-practice sharing. 



You will be responsible for: 


  • Annual brand plan: Creating the Nordic brand plan for your portfolio of brands, including strategy, initiatives, 4Ps and financial plan
  • Innovation: Developing new products based on trade or consumer insights. From quantifying the opportunity to developing the right 4Ps proposition, trade story and launch support 
  • Communication: Planning the yearly AtL communication and media plan for the Nordic countries - sparring with the Media Manager. Adapting or developing the assets (e.g. TV copies, Social Media) and managing bespoke communication channels (e.g. website, Facebook page) 
  • Trade Marketing: Defining assortment, price and promotion KPIs per channel. Tailoring Business Development Initiatives (BDI) utilizing local trade and consumer insights. Supporting Sales Team with Category growth stories and Trade assets (POSM)
  • People management: Leading and developing a direct report 
  • Brand performance: Tracking and analyzing brand performance utilizing Nielsen and financial reports. Amending plan to act on new challenges/opps.
  • Budget management: Crafting the yearly brands' budgets based on ROI and managing the spend 





Education: Master's degree or equivalent from recognized business school or university

Experience:  Minimum 4 years' experience within FMCG Marketing and/or Trade Marketing / Demonstrated experience of developing marketing strategies encompassing 

Language skills: Fluency in English (both oral and written). Fluency in one of the Nordic languages would be a plus

IT: Advanced user of Microsoft Office package, especially Excel / Experience with AC Nielsen, CATMAN and other market research software would be a plus
