IT&D Director Product Stream Architect, Marketing & eRB


The IT&D Director – Solution Architecture balances technological opportunities with business requirements at Stream level and maintains a holistic view of the stream/platform strategy, processes, information and IT&D/Data Assets for all the product groups within Marketing & eRB Stream. She/He design and delivers a connected architecture enabling success of all products teams in Marketing and eRB as well as success of the platforms across Reckitt.  S/He delivers links the Stream business mission, strategies and processes to the IT&D strategy. The Strategic Product Architect is the guardian of the architecture across all Products Groups within the Stream/Platform, taking into account all layers: Process/outcome, Application, Technology and Data


You will:

  • lead identification and analysis of key industry and technology trends to assess potential effect on the Stream businesses and tech landscape, and facilitate their testing with the Innovation Team, the Solution Architects and the Product Managers
  • provide inputs and expertise to the IT&D Strategy Office and to Product Group Directors for budget definition and allocation of investments to meet business initiatives while optimizing the Stream Strategic Architecture
  • build the long-term strategic roadmap for the Stream tech and data architecture, linked to the Stream product groups
  • Leads the community of solutions architect across all Marketing and eRB products
  • contribute to IT&D Strategy - under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Community of Practice Lead and Head of Enterprise Architecture
  • facilitate and ensure the use of the IT&D governance principles within the scope, inclusive of Cyber security practices
  • contribute to the building of the overall Enterprise Architecture community
  • support the IT&D strategy and planning process to align continuously with the company’s business goals and objectives


You'll succeed because…You have:

  • experience in implementing ITIL, Agile and DevOps standards in complex, global and matrix organizations
  • strong understanding of emerging software engineering methodologies and principles
  • relevant digital products knowledge, including Web Platforms, DTC eCommerce, PIM/DAM, CRM, CDP, Customer Service and Mobile
  • education in Business discipline or Computer Science to degree level, or equivalent experience 
  • excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • experience in managing and growing teams of Platform Owners, Developers, Engineers, Architects in a complex and matrix organization as well as in building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • proven track record of developing a Strategy and Vision for multiple Platforms as well as in large technical transformation projects  
  • ability to build agile and high performing squads that can deliver real business impact in short period of time
