IT&D Director Tech platforms, Marketing & eRB

Description

The IT&D Director- Tech Platforms Lead is responsible to provide technical foundations for product & platform delivery for Marketing & eRB Product Stream. S/he is accountable of developing the scalable Platform Strategy and defining what of value-add means in relation to Platforms through cascading guidance to Platform Owners and Managers across the stream. The Tech Platforms Lead is accountable to enable Business Units and Product teams to achieve value of the Products, through the services that their Platform provides.

 

You will:

  • develop and maintain a high-performing, secure and scalable Platform Strategy that ties to the overall IT&D strategy and Marketing & eRB as a function
  • guide Platform Owners and Managers by providing frameworks for governance processes, WoW/Delivery process, prioritisation and budget management of their platforms (managing cross-charging to Products)
  • maintain oversight of contract/budgetary decisions between Platforms and Products, intervening where necessary to serve as a final point of escalation
  • create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement for Platforms to be adopted by Platform Owner
  • manage, coach and mentoring Platform Owners across the IT&D group
  • interface directly with Business Product Owners and Platform Owners to harmonise the Platform strategy
  • actively partner with Product Group Managers and Product Line Managers for platform-related business strategic planning
  • work with Cyber Security team to ensure overall Platforms security, and identify security gaps in platform governance and delivery processes

 

You'll succeed because…You have:

  • experience in implementing ITIL, Agile and DevOps standards in complex, global and matrix organizations
  • strong understanding of emerging software engineering methodologies and principles
  • relevant digital products knowledge, including Web Platforms, DTC eCommerce, PIM/DAM, CRM, CDP, Customer Service and Mobile
  • education in Business discipline or Computer Science to degree level, or equivalent experience 
  • excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • experience in managing and growing teams of Platform Owners, Developers, Engineers, Architects in a complex and matrix organization as well as in building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • proven track record of developing a Strategy and Vision for multiple Platforms as well as in large technical transformation projects  
  • ability to build agile and high performing squads that can deliver real business impact in short period of time
