Your responsibilities
- Make equipment hook-ups for Process and CIP (Clean-In-Place)
- Ability to independently read the schedule and plan accordingly
- Complete dryside batch turnarounds (CIPing equipment, changing basket filters, getting magnet samples, process hook-ups)
- Monitor drying equipment including dryers, fluid beds, bag houses and bulk transport systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot the process
- Use the DeltaV system to keep track of process and verify equipment being used or idle
- Run our bulk bag filling room
- Follow necessary gowning procedures based on the hygiene zone level
- Detailed batch record formula reading and documentation
- Perform SAP transactions (making Transfer Orders, doing inventory reports)
- Perform chemical tests on circuits
- Assist with disassembling, assembling and preventative maintenance on various machinery
- Complete all necessary transactions, reports, audits, and documentation
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, keeping it GMP compliant at all times (includes sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.)
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be able to use radio system and always be alert on it. Important information is constantly communicated
- Be able to use independent judgment, work well within a team concept, and be able to multitask between various processes
The experience we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus
- Previous experience in a food processing department is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for long periods of time
