As a Maintenance Tech II (3rd shift), you'll provide multi-skilled technical leadership that will maintain, troubleshoot, repair and replace facility and operations equipment, components and systems. This full-time position is Monday-Friday from 11:15pm-7:30am.

Responsibilites:

  • Provides Packaging technical support to all Packaging departments as needed including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, changeover and repair of packaging line equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and programs PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers), electro-mechanical sensors and controllers.
  • Maintains, orders, and troubleshoots electrical/electronic parts and equipment for all departments.
  • Develops and improves Preventative Maintenance Programs from vendor manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of typical facility and manufacturing support systems, including steam, hot water, compressed air and refrigeration systems is required.
  • Reads and interprets electrical schematics and be able to work safely with low and high voltage circuits.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment; on high speed packaging equipment preferred.
  • Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in the mechanical and/or electrical disciplines preferred.
  • Troubleshooting capabilities such as PLC 5, SLC 500, Control Logix (5K, PLC 5000, Studio 5000) is required.
  • Computer Knowledge required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English is required.
