Embellishment/Co-packing Manager BNL

As Embellishment Manager, you are responsible for the overall management of the co-packing/ embellishment activity for the promotional finished good products of the Hygiene Business Unit. 
This includes work across functions (Sales, Marketing, Demand Planners) and 3rd part manufacturers to define the appropriate stocking strategies for the materials, as well as forecast and inventory management in order to support the sales and customer service targets. 
The position has a critical business impact on achieving the company’s objectives relative to customer service, stock management and Supply budget.  

 

Managing a team of 2 people (1 planner and 1 intern), you are piloting the following activities:

 

1.    Embellishment Production Planning
-    Forecast Management for the Promo SKUs, in coordination with Marketing and Sales.
-    Planning and scheduling the raw material purchasing, production activities and production quantities and timings according to the promotional demand planning needs
-    Supervises the raw material forecasting needs and coordinates the supply of base products from factories
-    Ensure the feasibility of the plans (Product availability + Materials, capacity)
-    Follow the progress of deliveries vs plan

 

2.     Logistics and flow management
-    Manage the up Stream and down Stream logistics flows and deliveries of the finished products between the embellisher and Warehouse
-    Stock management at Warehouse for embellished SKUs.

 

3.    Budget Management
-    Responsible for the planning and controlling of the embellishment budget

 

4.    Third party management
-    Responsible to evaluate and tender embellishment vendors based on price, availability and quality criteria
-    Manages the day-to-day relationship and collaboration with the embellishers

 

5.    Service Improvement Projects
-    Participate in process improvement projects / service tools
-    Be proactive on continuous improvement

 

You’ll succeed because… 

 
-    Graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business-related fields. 
-    Min 5 years of experience in Supply (logistics, planning and forecasting...) in an international environment, ideally in FMCG
-    Technical understanding of SAP, SNP/APO, or other Supply Chain information systems 
-    Full ownership minded, thinking end2end with a “driver” mentality, experience in project management
-    Team Player and all-rounder, combining excellent analytical and communication skills;
-    Is stress resistant and challenges with an open mind both internally and externally;
-    Strong skills in Excel and other MS tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-    Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written. (Dutch advantageous)
