About the role

As a Brand Manager at Reckitt, you'll nurture some of our Hygiene brands with creativity and strategic insight. We're seeking a dynamic marketer to collaborate on exciting brand journeys, turn insights into action, and deliver memorable marketing campaigns. As a Brand Manager in our team in Budapest, you’ll have the opportunity to drive the growth of your assigned brands through excellent marketing execution in HU&ADR region. As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic marketing team, you will be given extensive and diverse responsibilities across the full marketing mix and will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy.

You will also: 

  • Work with supply, sales and finance teams to develop and execute successful Brand Plans to deliver company targets within timescales and budget
  • Provide monthly financial updates, build on insights and learnings and recommend actions to further drive both category and brand
  • In close co-operation with the Trade Marketing function for Hungary and Adria, identify trade needs / opportunities, develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with trade promotions for brands

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual marketing activities, including local media strategy / plans for a given brand within a category, responsible for ensuring successful implementation of the plan
  • Identify yearly the Local Success Models including 4P principles for trade to execute on country and channel level
  • Plan and Execute NPD / EPD / BDI launches agreed with giving 4P principle guidance for trade
  • Implement portfolio strategy in conjunction with global category innovation to support overall business strategy, short / medium term;
  • Define an optimal portfolio taking both marketing, sales and supply KPIs into consideration to support overall company profitability
  • Implement market copy strategy for brand and ensure adaption possible across region
  • PO tracking and setting

The experience we're looking for

  • University or college degree in a business-related subject
  • At least 3 years of brand marketing experience in the FMCG industry
  • Fluent English besides native Hungarian
  • Proactive attitude with a problem-solver mindset and able to respond under pressure
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, commercial awareness and business mindset, able to drive business decisions
  • Ability to manage complexity given the regional scope with keeping an eye on the big picture
