About the role

As a Demand Planner based in Budapest, you will be responsible for running the monthly forecasting and supplying cycle with the connected departments (sales, marketing, supply, NPI) and with factory; maintaining the forecast in Kinaxis DP system, managing inventory in SAP ECC system. 

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for the sales forecasting & supply process of given brands in the CEE region
• Run monthly forecasting meetings with Sales Team
• Inventory planning, S&OP analysis to drive decision making
• Weekly review of production plans ensuring stock availability in the warehouse
• Verify freshness and shelf life left of the stock
• Manage shortages with allocation based on priorities
• Reporting on the KPI's (service level, forecast accuracy, inventory level, supply chain losses)
• Lead the data management system, portfolio files, develop it with the requested demands
• Set up SKU baseline profiles, characteristic value combinations in the system
• Lead continuous improvement projects for the demand and supply planning operations

The experience we're looking for

• University or college degree in a related field
• Fluent English besides native Hungarian
• Ideally 2 years of Demand and/or Supply Planning experience (FMCG experience preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel; Power BI would be a plus
• Excellent communication skills, ability to step up in meetings with senior managers
• Proactive, curious and able to work under pressure in a multicultural environment
• Efficient problem-solving to evaluate & resolve operational issues when needed
• Strong analytical skills
