Legal Manager

We are looking for our Legal Manager for Mexico, CARCA & Andean Region!

Objective: will be responsible for Local and Regional Projects including sound legal advice to execute different projects in the region and implement locally for Health and Nutrition Business Units
Responsibilities:
- HCP interactions, local policies and SOPs, authorizations/approvals, legal assessments to support challenges with authorities, inspections, and audits internal and external
- Prioritize and manage legal complex tasks simultaneously
- Consumer, Nutritional, OTC, Cosmetics and Medical Devices regulations. Interactions with Profeco/ Cofepris -- its equivalents in each country.
- Identify key issues and develop appropriate actions to attain solutions within a tight timeframe
- Supports confidential investigations with Ethics and Compliance team and act as business partner with other areas
- WHO Code, Ethic Codes, Industry meeting documents, Policies related industry, Company meetings, trainings
- Manage legal issues from the Factories Tlalpan/ Delicias / Tech Center
- Handle all type of Litigations (Labor, Commercial, Civil, Criminal, Environmental)
- Manage Budget and legal spend with External Counsels in the Region
- Provide legal support to Marketing campaigns and product launches
- Manage Distribution Agreements within Centro America markets
US Additional requirements
Requirements:
- Academic background: BS in Law. LLM is preferred.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in consumer or pharma industry or any regulated industry
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry with international exposure to commercial and consumer/health related issues. (In depth knowledge of consumer goods, Pharmaceutical and OTC products, medical devices)
- Understand different legal systems and cultural environments.
- Proven experience working effectively in a highly matrixed and global environment that includes managing resources such as people, budgets, and information.
- Advanced English: Ability to communicate effectively written and verbally and build and maintain influential relationships within a global network at local, state, and federal levels.
- Ability to travel as needed
