Project Manager Raw Materials and Formulae

As Project Manager responsible for Raw Materials and Formulae portfolio, you’ll have the freedom to find better ways to deliver outstanding technical services to a major manufacturing operation.

 
In a dynamic Supply environment, you’ll be responsible for all activities related to the development and implementation of raw materials and formulae, at one of our largest facilities. You’ll:

  • Be the key point of contact on site for all formula and raw material changes
  • Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, Supply, Marketing, Regulatory, Safety) providing excellent level of service
  • Manage a wide range of projects – for example: new products introductions, technical transfers, sustainability initiatives or regulatory compliance
  • Find ways to continuously improve, making us faster, more efficient, more sustainable.
  • Manage the internal Bill of Material set up for new and changed formulae, including technical approval and change control management

  • Support the MSDS management and COSHH assessment processes on site
  • Identify cost saving and complexity reduction opportunities 
  • Work on business resilience plan by identification of mono-sourced raw materials and co-ordination the implementation of business continuity plans
  • Manage the trial raw materials and cost control of the trials budget
  • …and always keep eye out for improvement opportunities!

  • Have a solid chemical background. A degree in Chemical Engineering is preferrable but would also consider a Chemistry or other science-based degree
  • Have proficiency in Excel and a good understanding of Power BI tools and SAP
