Student Worker - Sales

In Finland, the Hygiene division sells cleaning brands Finish, Vanish, AirWick, Cillit Bang, Lysol and Harpic. Our key customers are Kesko, SOK, Tokmanni, Lidl and other retailers and we want to succeed in winning consumers to buy our products with using marketing, in-store execution and pricing as key drivers.

 

In Reckitt, we believe that our success is driven by extraordinary people and now we look for a Student Worker - Sales Coordinator to support our Hygiene team in Finland, located in Espoo, Itsehallintokuja 6.

 

About the role: 

  • As Student Worker, you will be supporting the Finnish, and Nordic, team with a wide range of FMCG marketing, sales and brand management tasks.
  • This is a 20h / week role, where we are primarily looking for a student at the later stage of their studies. We would prefer the work is performed in 4-5h daily slots 4-5 days a week, but other arrangements can be considered.
  • This role offers the candidate a chance to enter the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) world at a large international company  working with colleagues across the Nordics and leading brands, such as Finish or Vanish. If you aspire for an international career, this is a good stepping stone at the side of your studies. Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis, using MS Excel, of product details, product sell-out rates and profitability
  • Monitoring market developments, e.g. competitive pricing and product launches
  • Updating product details, such as price sheets and product specifications data
  • Preparing ppt -documents and helping customer responsible Key Account Managers to compile customer presentations.
  • Help preparing in-store execution plans and materials, especially preparing product display documentation that includes working with several internal systems, supply organisation, warehouse operation and local marketing.
  • Develop and support the Key Account Management delivery of 4P targets (Product, Placement, Price & Promotion)
  • Support the development of Joint Business Plans and key category management projects (Business Development Initiative coordination, roll-out and communication to field sales, executional assignments associated with category projects)
  • Support analysis including share of shelf/visibility at point-of-sales/Distribution penetration across product range/ Retail Pricing/Consumer and Trade Promotions and Discounts
  • Drive specific projects and to support the local team.
  • Office tasks, such as ordering office supplies and ensuring our sample product storage is up to date

 

 

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor/ Master programme in Marketing, International business or equivalent

 

Experience:

  • We don’t require earlier experience of the industry. Instead, we require you have a curious mind, willingness to learn and persistence to see through also routine tasks. We want to offer you the opportunity to learn, and after this role to claim basic experience on FMCG, customer and sales management, building business/customer relationships and 4P execution.

 

Languages:

  • Fluency in English - both oral and written 
  • Fluency in one of the Nordic countries would be a strong plus

Literacy & Numeracy:

  • Understanding of basic business finance

 

IT:

  • Excel – advanced level
  • PowerPoint, Sales Systems Software - basic
