Operations Supervisor

Duties:
•    Responsible for the management and direction of a production shift team
•    Ensure production standards are met (Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and GMP compliance)
•    Coordinate daily production activities and resources to ensure operational metrics are achieved  
•    Comprehend the regulatory environment and RB policies for the shift team, and ensures production systems, documentation and processes are in compliance
•    Oversee the accurate and timely completion of production records
•    Develop knowledge of equipment and manufacturing systems to provide a resource for the team
•    Provide technical expertise to resolve/troubleshoot production-related issues
•    Build technical competencies within the team by sharing knowledge, coaching, and providing ongoing training
•    Communicate issues, goals and objectives effectively and manage competing requests
•    Ensure team implements and utilizes solutions and technologies in support of improved Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes
•    Develop team and builds an effective operating culture by utilizing a performance management system, providing on-going coaching and assess employee performance
•    Coordinate work activities with other shifts and other areas within the organization
•    Manage compliance with all HR policies, and administers employee relation matters in an effective and timely manner
•    Work hours will include those hours worked by the shift team and others required by business needs

 

Qualifications:
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership experience
•    BS Degree in business or technical field preferred, High School or Equivalent Required
•    Experience working within an FDA regulated environment preferred, leading a production team to deliver results, working in a processing and packaging (liquids, powder or food environment), using continuous improvement and problem solving to drive results, and working on cross functional teams
