We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Production Team as a Powder Weigher. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented and passionate about our cause and purpose. Each team member is a part of a dynamic workforce that is empowered and supported.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with Materials Planning personnel to determine the appropriate weigh sheets needed for specific weighings
  • Know, understand and be able to perform the raw material weighings for all premix operations, utilizing the WINS computer system, or manually when necessary
  • Maintain proper segregation of raw materials by allergen class.
  • Understand the physical properties of raw materials to be weighed and inform management of any unusual situations
  • Utilize the SAP/GWINS system to assure the appropriate amounts of raw materials needed for weighings have been released and will not expire before the scheduled processing date
  • Inspect each printed label to be attached to a weighing for correct information, clarity and spacing
  • Perform the appropriate allergen cleaning of the Weigh Room, scales and utensils used in weighings
  • Support BIBBIT weighing as needed
  • Stage raw materials for use, maintaining the first-in/first-out procedure
  • Transport raw materials to and from the storage areas, staging areas, and processing areas, if necessary
  • Complete all Master Sanitation Schedule cleanings
  • Notify management of any unusual situations
  • Other duties as assigned

The experience we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • background in manufacturing or production would be beneficial, but a strong desire to learn is also highly valued
  • An aptitude for understanding and adhering to detailed manufacturing processes and safety protocols
  • Ability to work actively, which might include standing for long periods and managing moderate weights
  • Detail-oriented and reliable approach, with the drive to take initiative and achieve high-quality results

 USD $24.25/hr

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
