• Be the local lead for R&D Health in India, representing R&D functions on the Commercial lead team. Ensure effective communication between the local Business & the global R&D Stakeholders. Ensure that R&D partnership with local India stakeholders is clear and clarified as needed.
• Identify and recommend key strategic opportunities within own area of responsibility and share relevant opportunities with all R&D functions and categories
• Ensure that facilities and processes are operated with a prioritization to Health and Safety and also to the required standards of good manufacturing and laboratory practice. Ensure that all work performed is subject to the scrutiny of internal and external auditors.
• Work with Marketing GBMM partner of Dettol Personal Care Bar Soap category responsible for shaping, aligning and driving the Dettol global strategic plans and innovation pipeline.
• Providing strategic oversight for Dettol R&D Operations (maintenance, Net Revenue protection, GM expansion / cost savings), Microbiology & Analytical, Sensory & Consumer Science Excellence (SCSE) & other cross functional teams, especially those co-located in India.
• The individual will interface closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, PMO, Science Platforms, Microbiology, Supply, Regulatory, Medical/Clinical and other key functional matrix groups to advance initiatives successfully through the product development cycle and define clear brand/product strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
