Sales

Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online.

Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.

We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference. The Global Business Solutions (GBS) delivers exceptional hygiene for stronger business. This B2B field of Reckitt is focused on driving access and commercial success for Reckitt’s hygiene brands in non-retail B2B environments with a focus on Offices, Professional Kitchens, FM/Janitorial and Education verticals. You will be working with the entire product portfolio inclusive of; Sagrotan, Finish, Vanish, Cillit Bang, Kukident, Durex and many more. You will have the freedom to create and develop strong customer relations with existing and new B2B clients across a range of verticals.  

 

Wit the support of a fully dedicated End-to-End regional GBS team and local DACH organisation, you will expand the new B2B arm of Reckitt business solutions across the DACH region. And to launch our brands into new distributor & customers across the Office, Jansan & Horeca verticals in the B2B market.

 

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:

  • Acquisition of new accounts with a clear contact strategy and strong focus on key verticals among the DACH region 
  • Managing the day-to-day contact to existing key customers
  • Negotiate the annual trading terms with the customer in line with overall strategy.
  • Define and negotiating pricing strategy to be executed with different partners in the given geography, including Rebate management process
  • Define distribution network for relevant vertical in market & discover white space opportunities
  • Conduct business review with customers, collects data from customer and analyze it and share it internally with the team for necessary actions. 
  • Deliver the P&L for the given customer portfolio across GBUs and across markets in alignment with his line manager
  • Support Sales Business Development Manager in internal reporting, financial planning and S&OP forecasting
  • Work closely with local IMEx teams (i.e. Marketing, Trade marketing, Supply and Finance) as well as within the GBS Hub to provide input on Sales toolkits and portfolio menu and customize global toolkits for the region of influence
  • Work closely with B2B Area and Central team to provide input on Sales initiatives, global strategy workshops & innovation projects

Your experience & skills we're looking for

  • At least a bachelor's degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on sales, trade or marketing, or a comparable qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in Sales including FMCG with a minimum of minimum 3 years (Past experience in B2B on manufacturer or distributor side is preferable but not essential)
  • Experienced in project management, market data analysis and deriving action steps from it
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and Power Point)
  • Solution-oriented with focus on outcome and comfortable working on a lean organization
  • Good team player with a positive outlook on work and Can-Do attitude, capable of building strong working relationships within a very diverse and multicultural cross-functional team
  • Entrepreneurial, fast learning agility and result orientation while maintaining sustainable growth
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Excellent Communicator in German and English (business fluent)
