Job Description

As part of SAP APO consultant role, the individual will be responsible to provide SAP subject matter expertise related to Supply chain planning, high level design solutions for major complex projects. Planning solutions will be related to business processes within Demand Planning, Supply network planning. Individual should have excellent communication skills and must showcase visible energy and passion for the role and willingness and experience level that will ensure success for the broader teams involved.
 

Required skills:
• Provide SAP subject matter expertise related to SAP Supply Chain Management to configure and support SCM functionalities especially DP, SNP, CIF, PP/DS and IBP. Kinaxis is an added advantage
• Deep knowledge of supply chain manufacturing processes.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and convert them into technical solutions, driving business workshops.
• Core Interface design, writing functional/technical specifications, EDI and PI/PO integration is a must.
• Experience with ECC MRP, long term planning, safety stock planning, budget planning, sales and operations planning is a must.
• Hands on experience in historical data mapping, APO BW design, Statistical model’s analysis and selection, Macro development, Proportion factors, Demand aggregation and disaggregation, demand release to SNP is a must.
• Strong working knowledge in statistical forecasting, heuristics, deployment, TLB is a must.
• Strong working knowledge of BW cubes and SAP ECC master data and transaction data integration to support APO solutions.
• Experience in setting up APO CIF and troubleshoot CIF issues related to data integration.
• Experience in handling planned downtimes and unplanned production outages.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and fix bugs that arise in unit test, system integration test, user acceptance test.
• Knowledge in defining and improving supply chain KPIs using BI analytics.
• Provide hands-on production maintenance support activities for a global organization.
• Enforce development standards, change control processes, and adherence to the SAP global template.
• Work with global process owners and end users across the globe to design and deliver global solutions and country-specific localizations needed to meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal and external solution analysts, configurators, developers and other subject matter experts to deliver major and complex projects within time, budget and quality constraints.
 

Job Requirements:
• Masters Degree in technical or business discipline.
• 6 to 8 years of experience supporting SCM APO, SNP, DP, and PP including at least two full lifecycle implementation of a multinational SAP instance is a must.
• Experience in Kinaxis  and IBP is an added advantage
• Experience working within a regulated industry is a plus.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
