Your responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust digital platforms, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
- Engage closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other colleagues to align digital solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
- Contribute actively to Agile processes, offering insightful updates and collaborating on solutions.
- Uphold and enhance compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies regarding digital platform development.
- Drive improvements in our platform engineering practises, embracing opportunities for automation, optimisation, and innovation.

The experience we're looking for

- A solid grasp of the software development life cycle, with hands-on experience in platform engineering.
- Proficiency in Agile best practises and experience with cross-functional, diverse team collaboration.
- Knowledge and application of platform engineering frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF or ITIL.
- Familiarity with user experience design principles and a keen eye for detail.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Recognised certifications in platform engineering (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of meticulous attention to detail.
