About the role

Your responsibilities

  • Focus on driving DataOps to speed up the process of deriving value from data by building automation within the data pipeline to ensure data quality is constantly maintained via DataOps best practices while treating the Data Platform as a Product.
  • Develops and maintains tools and frameworks for data analysis and experimentation, such as A/B testing and user behaviour tracking.
  • Designs, develops, & optimizes the delivery of Data Platform Services/Frameworks, in terms of both throughput and quality, by promoting and embedding DevOps and DataOps tools and processes, and agile delivery methods as appropriate.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for DataOps, and partner with functional experts across the company to bring that expertise to bear on some of the hardest and most exciting problems in this space

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science with a focus in Data Engineering.
  • Extensive experience with Azure and GCP platforms
  • Experience with DevOps tools and concepts (e.g. Jira, GitLabs / Jenkins / Azure DevOps 
  • Strong competency in authoring and analyzing complex SQL queries
  • Experience with agile development in Python
  • Experience with dbt
  • Experience with Databricks
