As HR Payroll & Cost Controller you’ll be supporting our HR team ensuring efficient HR cost planning and control as well as Payroll activities. You will work closely with HR Director, HRBPs, Reward Manager, Finance team and Payroll provider to coordinate and manage payroll cycle, personnel costs processing, reporting and administrative tasks. You will be responsible for day-to-day administrative and transactional support for HR team. This role is also responsible for back-end support relating to HR & Budgeting Systems and its maintenance of records and data analysis. 

Summary of responsibilities:

Managing the payroll cycle and administrative related tasks with the external provider;
Processing contracts, maintain employee files and records;
Manage relations with external labor law bodies in order to ensure the correct management of social security and tax contributions;
Personnel costs processing & analysis: in agreement with management and according to company needs, budgeting company labour cost & HR overheads cost (pre/final balance analysis, staff composition, determination of staff needs, etc.) and monthly/quarterly reviews vs actual;
Collaboration with HR and Finance Teams for closing, forecasting and consolidation activities; 
Simulation of scenarios to adopt in order to identify impact on labour costs, revenues and effectiveness; 
Monthly monitoring on usage and planning of residual vacations, leaves and absences;
Management of HR systems: SAP Successfactor, Infobudget, Ariba

Requirements & Personal Attributes:

Master’s Degree in Economics, Business or HR related subjects, 4-6 years of experience as HR Cost Controller and Payroll
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Fluency in Italian and English
Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g. Success Factors) and main payroll software will be considered a plus, as well as knowledge of the Italian Chemicals National Labour Collective Agreement
Excellent analytical skills, proactive mindset, excellent communication, independent
Business Acumen and commercial understanding, results-oriented and can-do attitude
