Exciting opportunity to join the North America Insights & Analytics (I&A) team at Reckitt, working on our Health portfolio, focusing on our dynamic Mucinex brand.  You will be the leader of business analytics within the North America Health I&A team, reporting to the Director of North America I&A.

 

Our vision as an Insights & Analytics team is to ensure the consumer is at the heart of everything we do, and that I&A is a strategic, commercial partner to the business. You’ll have the opportunity to ensure the business is using data to drive business decisions, ultimately making the voice of the consumer an integral part of delivering the U.S. business results. By providing highly impactful strategic insight into the business based on all available data sources, you will impact strategy, priorities and tactical programs.  You will use data and analytics to ensure superb long-term planning based on reliable, validated predictive tools – influencing media and 4Ps.   Working with key leaders in U.S. Marketing, Media and Sales and our external agency partners will be critical to embed learning and drive decision making.
 

You’ll succeed because you will… 

  • Drive overall business insights & analytics learning agenda (identifying key knowledge gaps, prioritizing, and mapping appropriate tools/techniques), and secure budget
  • Manage projects from end-to-end
    • Lead the project briefing stage, ensure business objectives are outlined and project will provide new, scalable learning
    • Manage the inputs collection and/or test design
    • Oversee supplier’s progress in the analysis
    • Work with supplier’s analysts and internal stakeholders to ensure report is action-oriented, delivering insight and specific recommendations to the business, not just a data dump
    • Embed the learning in the business, deploying across teams
  • Develop “meta” analysis leveraging learnings across brands / studies to improve the knowledge base of the organization
  • Lead partnerships with Nielsen, Numerator including joint business planning and resource allocation to drive faster & better insights and maximize impact

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in synthesizing learnings from multiple data sources, aligning multiple stakeholders to actionable strategic shifts and delivering recommendations to senior-level executives
  • Strong understanding of omni-channel media strategy and tactics as well as the suite of analytic solutions available to measure sales impact of media
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate to transform measurement request into actionable, focused business questions that can be answered via syndicated analytics solutions
  • Leadership skills including initiative, communication, creativity, bias towards action, and success even in the face of ambiguity 
  • Passion for and understanding of big data and its ability to drive insight and action within an organization
  • Experience in working within a global leading FMCG matrix structured organization a plus
