About the role

As the Planning and Investments Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Video Investment Strategy for the Health Business, including the annual Upfront and quarterly options.  You should also have a passion for numbers, as you will also lead the investment and budget management for the Health business unit, including estimates, billing, PO process and reconciliation.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead annual Upfront process.
  • Work with media agency to provide cross-functional team with briefing templates and timelines.
  • Manage quarterly buys, including flighting and makegoods.  
  • Lead all TV integration and sponsorship programs, including proposals, planning and activation
  • Gather industry articles/information/POVs emerging in video or cross-device marketing 
  • Lead competitive reporting and analysis.  
  • Liaise with global on annual and ad hoc audits
  • Lead implementation of all global media and billing tools (MPR+, etc) and train team members.
  • Track working media investment down to the vendor/partner level
  • Manage monthly brand budget changes and communicate cross-functionally; lead billing/invoicing issues 
  • Coordinate and maintain media flowcharts and purchase authorizations

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years relevant experience on either the client or agency side planning or buying television/FEP/CTV
  • Knowledge of the linear TV advertising space, including CPPs, GRPs, options, scatter, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of FEP planning and implementation.  Programmatic experience a plus
  • 5+ years experience reviewing TV and content proposals; ability to negotiate better rates
  • 5+ years managing media budgets

US salary ranges

USD $130,000 - $196,000

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
