About the role

 

The Senior Brand Manager (SBM) will lead a category/segments/or brand stream and will be empowered to drive the brand purpose, innovation/activation as relevant to ultimately deliver the impact to consumers and grow share and revenue for the business. As part of the role, SBM will be responsible for identifying market trends and growth opportunities, exploring  and distilling consumer insights translating to actions driving consumer response e.g. media communication, NPD/EPD pipeline, activation (ATL or BTL), predicting likely competitive dynamics, and analyzing the economics of the business so that the Reckitt Czech & Slovakia can make effective choices to maximize competitive advantage. For the purpose, the position drives and implements these marketing activities by executing high cross functional interaction with our internal/external stakeholders. Having strong project management skills, capability for building omni-channel communication strategy (+360), strategic thinking, logical thinking, well-balanced business mind-set, and passion for brand marketing are essential.

Your responsibilities

 

  • To manage Power Brands within the context of the agreed strategies to maximize long term sales and profitability
  • To develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget
  • To contribute to the development of category strategies
  • Managing of brand portfolio by driving innovation and NPD/EPD projects pipeline with developed local support strategy
  • To develop, recommend and execute annual marketing plan activities, including local media strategy and plans
  • To initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long term brand growth. Develop these insights into achievable plans
  • In close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing, identify trade needs/ opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands
  • Team management of 1-2 people and day to day management and coaching of the Brand Marketing Specialist(s)/Manager(s)
  • Other tasks assigned by manager

The experience we're looking for

 

 

  • 5-6 Years marketing experience, must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills and potential, developed within an FMCG environment
  • Educated to minimum bachelors degree level in a business related subject
  • Positive and with can do attitude.
