About the role

Reckitt is seeking an EHS Manager to champion our environmental health and safety initiatives at the Salt Lake City facility. This position is responsible for leading the design and implementation of health and safety programs, as well as environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. Long Description

  • Lead all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure a safe, compliant, prevention‑focused workplace.
  • Maintain full compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and ISO 14001/45001 standards.
  • Own the site’s EHS Management System, including risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute annual EHS strategies aligned with site and regional priorities.
  • Serve as the site Security Champion, coordinating security expectations, issues, and incident response.
  • Lead environmental compliance and sustainability programs across waste, air, water, hazardous materials, and reporting.
  • Provide EHS leadership to the Site Leadership Team, manage key metrics and audits, and oversee Occupational Health services.
  • Lead the EHS team, manage the departmental budget, partner with Operations/Engineering on safe equipment and MOC, and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.

Short Description

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Management, Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is required.
  • 7 to 10 years of managerial experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety within a regulated (FDA) manufacturing environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, state regulatory requirements, and ISO 14001/45001 management systems.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and partner across functions.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching, developing, and directing EHS team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Reckitt values and adherence to Human Rights and Responsible Business Practices policies.
  • Ability to influence behavior and drive adoption of safety and environmental practices across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work with EHS information systems, reporting tools, and digital platforms.
  • This role is not currently offering VISA sponsorship or considering international movement.

US salary ranges

USD $116,000.00 -  $174,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
