About the role

Your responsibilities

- Conduct monthly management accounting tasks, ensuring precise balance sheet control and exception reporting.
- Analyse key cost centres, providing essential liaisons with shared service groups, and leading finance-related projects geared towards efficiency.
- Guide financial hedging strategies and oversee the implementation of operational model changes.
- Support non-finance staff with their queries, ensuring clarity and understanding across the business.
- Coordinate finance business partners to maintain a unified voice in financial operations.
- Forecast and plan statutory accounts, manage account preparation, and obtain necessary sign-offs.

The experience we're looking for

- Fully qualified accountant status, with a solid record in proficient technical execution.
- Experience in JDE & HFM, or similar financial systems.
- Adept at articulating information clearly to senior stakeholders and non-finance personnel.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines within a challenging yet rewarding setting.
- Proven project management abilities, with a knack for improving business processes and internal controls.
- Strong background in financial reporting and accounting principles, with a strategic mindset towards stakeholder engagement and influence.
