About the role

The role will be part of the Global EH&S Compliance team. This role will lead the development and consistent implementation of Reckitt’s H&S requirements and oversee legal compliance for EMEA sites working closely with the other members of the global H&S team. The H&S Compliance team has been identified by senior leadership as playing an essential role in providing a consistent approach to H&S compliance and in achieving the goal of a world class H&S organisation. As such this role will have visibility and access to the highest levels of the organisation. The role will report directly to the Global H&S Director and will continually feed into the responsible Senior Leadership teams..

The experience we're looking for

•           Hold minimum Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. NEBOSH or other country equivalent)

•           Considerable experience working in Manufacturing or similar to a senior management position, engaging with senior leaders across different functions

•           Proven experience of working in a corporate / global EHS function and working cross culturally, collaborating with other global peers

•           Good understanding of overall HS legislation applicable to a manufacturing site in one or more countries.

•           Ability to critically assess existing EHS systems, with proven experience of implementing solutions to further improve

•           Experience in auditing, including against ISO 45001 management standards

•           Good overall knowledge of safety & Risk (e.g. process safety, LOTO, electrical safety, manual handling, contractor safety, vehicle safety, chemical & hazardous material handling, occupational health, training/coaching etc), comfortable in position as a regional subject matter expert

•           Proven experience in manufacturing / FMCG

•           Hold a relevant degree level qualification – eg Engineering/Chemical/EHS Disciplines

•           Chartered H&S professional or working towards Chartered Status.

•           Bilingual / Multilingual will be an advantage. Excellent communication skills a must.
