About the role

Be apart of our dynamic legal force that underpins our global success at Reckitt. As out Over the Counter Legal Counsel, you will provide legal advice and support to Reckitt in relation to its global product innovation and marketing activities. Working closely with OTC marketing and R&D stakeholders within our Category Development Organisation Health business.

 

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:

  • Support the Global Research and Development teams with commercial contracts required to facilitate product innovation including Confidentiality, Supply, Development and Clinical trial agreements.
  • Support Global Medical team with KOL agreements and related medical channel activities.
  • Support on potential contractual disputes, competitor challenges and litigious matters; co-ordinating tracking of same across IMEX organisations and sharing insights.
  • Advise the Global Marketing teams on product claims and strategies and consumer law issues; implementing consistent approach and tracking between brands and categories.
  • Work closely with in house patent and trademark specialists.
  • Work with Legal colleagues based around the globe to ensure consistent legal approach via training and optimisation of legal processes.

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience of advising FMCG or Healthcare companies and knowledge of the consumer goods sector.
  • Intellectual Property experience.
  • Commercial contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Marketing and Advertising Law experience.
  • Experience of working in an in-country market executional role.
  • Experience of working across a range of product categories including medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and general products.
  • Knowledge of healthcare environment including the medical and pharmaceutical channel, of medical and regulatory agencies such as the MHRA (UK) and ANSM (France), of medical professionals (eg key opinion leaders) and of public healthcare systems such as the NHS (UK) especially in relation to reimbursement and prescription- and/or pharmacy-only medicines.
