About the role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager who will play a key role in the development, design, and continuous improvement of Reckitt's Risk Management Framework. You will define, embed, and champion a strong and mature culture of risk management, working with senior leaders across Reckitt to ensure that Reckitt effectively manages the risks it needs to take to deliver on its strategy.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with the Risk Director and Senior Manager to maintain and embed the Risk Management framework across the Group.
  • Co-ordinate the risk management process and identify emerging risks and trends.
  • Collate risk and control information and provide high quality reporting to support the GBU Risk and Compliance Committees in their risk oversight role.
  • Complete deep dives on specific risks to gain assurance on the quality and adequacy of the controls and action plans.
  • Monitor and support the business with complying with the Risk Management framework such as the completeness and quality of the risk register.
  • Raise risk awareness across the organisation by preparing and delivering both company wide and bespoke communications, training, and leadership / team presentations.
  • Provide Risk Management advice and hands-on support to GBU’s and functions.
  • Work closely with Internal Audit to develop a risk-based audit plan which focuses assurance activity on the significant risks across the organisation.

The experience we're looking for

  • Risk management experience in a complex, global organisation. 
  • Prior experience with FMCG, Life Sciences or Consumer Healthcare industry will be an advantage.
  • A proven and demonstrable track record of effecting significant change and improving risk management.
  • A strong influencing and persuasion skills / high degree of perseverance and resilience.
  • The ability to communicate clearly with key stakeholders (both written and verbal).
  • The ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment and deliver results.
  • The ability to analyse complex sets of data and situations and to translate them into simple terms.
  • Have a recognized Risk, Finance or Accountancy qualification.
