About the role

We are on the hunt for a Senior Finance Manager - Controls Excellence to join our corporate headquarters with a passion for excellence and a talent for financial stewardship. Positioned at the heart of our operations in Slough, your expertise will be the compass guiding us through the complexities of accounting and financial strategy. You'll contribute to Reckitt's growth with your meticulous financial planning and dedicated cost management. Your role is integral to reinforcing our dedication to financial integrity and innovation. This role provides expert and technical advice across the whole group and is in a position to drive significant change whilst establishing a robust controls framework. The candidate needs to possess the rare combination of subject matter expertise, high integrity, with strong communication and influencing skills and clear commercial acumen. 

Your responsibilities

- Polish and publish financial statements while syncing with regulatory compliance.
- Execute financial analysis, leading to informed strategic planning and risk management.
- Supervise and refine accounting operations, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Spearhead and coordinate auditing processes, fulfilling our commitment to transparency.
- Embolden our finance team with your leadership, nurturing a culture of continual improvement.

- Drive consistency and standardisation of global finance policies & procedures by collaborating with Business Unit Controllers and regional and country-specific finance teams. 

- Develop process maps of significant financial processes, identifying control points within the process and reducing redundant or non-effective controls. 

The experience we're looking for

- Adept at analysing financial data and preparing comprehensive financial reports.
- Sound understanding of IFRS and its application within international organisations.
- Background in delivering technical accounting advice, ideally within large, listed corporations.
- Robust experience in finance management and familiarity with auditing practices.
- Strong communication skills, paired with exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Savvy with financial software and proficient in streamlining accounting functions.
