About the role

Role Purpose:

To plan, organize, develop and set objectives to carry out the production, utilities, warehouse, and safety operations to meet the company requirements.

Scope:

• R&D plant of Taicang Crystal project.
• Manage day to day manufacturing operations including activities of quality management and production scheduling, people management.
• Raw materials warehouse management
• Finance related management (Purchase order and contract creation, payment, document closing).

Your responsibilities

• To manage and supervise the production through the establishment of balanced utilization of Man, Money and Material.
• To own and manage the operation and maintenance of all site utilities, including but not limited to compressor, boiler, soft water system, 
• To own and manage the materials warehouse housing raw materials, intermediate and finished goods. 
• To perform in the capacity of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) representative for the site ensuring no safety incidents occur, 
• Plan for development and training of the subordinates for obtaining the proper knowledge and skill to achieve the assignments. 
• Direct and assign proper tasks to subordinates, establish work priorities, schedule work and set up effective monitoring system. 
• Ensures that all processes within dipping & finishing department are within specifications. 
• Maintains the Quality System in area of responsibility in regard to procedures, documentation, corrective actions and deviation reporting

The experience we're looking for

• B.S. degree or equivalent. Preferably chemical/material science or other relevant technical subject.
• Minimum 5 years relevant production experience.
• Good English/Chinese communication skills.
• Computer literate. SAP experience would be an advantage.
• Experience of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or similar.
