About the role

One of your key responsibilities will be to proactively contribute to the AI & ML Community of Practice at Reckitt. This community brings together practitioners and enthusiasts across the company, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation in the field of AI and ML.

Your responsibilities

  • Contributing to the AI & ML Community of Practice, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation, and facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration among its members.
  • Collaborating with team members in the development of analytics pilot projects, and translating business requirements into effective data science solutions.
  • Assisting in the end-to-end process of building machine learning models, from data preparation to model deployment.
  • Working on cloud-based analytics projects (primarily Azure), connecting with different data sources, and building custom data pipelines as needed.
  • Contributing to the growth of the Data Science community within our company and helping to expand the Center of Excellence.
  • Conducting comprehensive analysis of large datasets to uncover insights and answer business questions.
  • Prototyping, developing, and deploying data products while maintaining high-quality code and documentation. Ensuring the efficiency, stability, and scalability of the solution.

The experience we're looking for

  • A proactive attitude, a winning mindset, strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment. You should also be curious about working cross-culturally and functionally.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in building and driving communities of practice or similar groups.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience using advanced analytical techniques to solve practical problems, from prototyping to achieving business impact.
  • A university degree with a focus on quantitative methods, econometrics, statistics, mathematics, or related degree programs.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python.
  • A solid understanding of machine learning and statistical methods, along with their underlying theory and mathematics.
  • A passion for innovation and the development of algorithms for new use cases (e.g., projects involving chatbots, computer vision, etc.)
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud (knowledge of other Cloud platforms is a plus).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) is an asset.
  • An understanding of recommendation systems, churn modeling, Predictive Search, NLP concepts, and a desire to gain hands-on expertise in these domains.
  • Fluency in English (proficiency in any other language is a plus).
